Is ShiftSnap free to join?
Yes. Venues and workers can create their profiles and join the platform without paying a registration fee or monthly subscription.
What do venues pay?
Venues receive their first five shift postings free. After that, each additional shift posting costs $5. A 5% venue service fee applies only when a shift has been successfully completed.
What do workers pay?
Workers do not pay to create a profile, browse shifts or submit applications. A 5% worker service fee is deducted only from earnings for completed shifts.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. ShiftSnap does not require venues or workers to pay a monthly subscription.
Are there lock-in contracts?
No. Venues can use ShiftSnap whenever they need additional hospitality workers, without entering into a long-term contract.
When is the 5% service fee charged?
The 5% venue fee and 5% worker fee apply only when a shift has been completed and the shift payment is processed through ShiftSnap.
Can venues choose which worker they hire?
Yes. Venues can review the workers who apply and select the applicant they believe is most suitable for the available shift.
Do I need to own a restaurant to use ShiftSnap?
No. ShiftSnap can be used by restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, caterers, event organisers and private individuals who need hospitality workers.
